The good:

ROME: So good it gets its own post. The best 12 hours ever commissioned to television. Audiences have been subjected to so many incarnations of Ancient Rome, in film, on television and on stage. This HBO production is hands down the best IMO for three reasons.( All roads lead to Rome.... )

Praise the Lord and Hallelujah. I officially have some time, albeit brief at best, to sit down and compose a genuine LJ post. Sorry about the ( sporadic ranting.... )

My weekend consisted of typing and more typing. I completed 3 lectures including the entire historical period encompassed by the rise and fall of the Julio-Claudian dynasty (in other words, “the good stuff”).
